Welcome to St. Mark’s Youth Group! Here at St. Mark’s we love Youth and believe that they can be a powerful force in the life of today’s church. That is why we are a community that is dedicated to providing a place for youth to meet Christ and come to know him personally. We believe there is no gift more powerful, life-changing, and necessary for youth today, than what happens when their journey collides with that of their Creator. Once a youth meets and truly experiences God in Christ, it is impossible for them to remain unchanged. Christ offers a love that transforms and creates new life. His love is a love that saves lives. We pray that St. Mark’s can be a place where youth collide with Christ and become forever changed.

Our regular weekly schedule contains several elements of fellowship, study, and worship. Come out and join us!
SUNDAY MORNINGS:
9:45-10:40 THE JOURNEY – “The Journey” is our two-tract Sunday School class. Some of our students are a part of a program seeking Confirmation. Others are simply interested in learning more about our faith heritage and what makes us unique as Christians and as Methodists. Come join us no matter where you are on your journey!
SUNDAY NIGHTS:
5:00-6:30pm Junior High Youth Group – This is a time set aside specifically for those youth who are rising 6th graders through 8th grades. We study the bible, different biblical themes, and offer up words of prayer on each others behalf. And because we like to have fun, there are usually a few friendly shenanigans thrown into the evening for a little flavor.
6:30-7:00pm All Youth Dinner – This is a time for all youth to hang out together over a healthy meal. The dinners are provided and prepared by the faithful discipleship of our youth parents. Come join us sometime!
7:00-8:30pm Senior High Youth Group – This is a time set aside specifically for those youth who are rising 9th graders through 12th grades. We offer a more in-depth, discussion environment in which to study the bible and biblical themes. We also spend time offering up words of prayer on each others behalf during this time.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS:
6:15-6:45 – Youth Chorus. Led by our wonderful Director of Music, Deborah Wiley, our youth are learning how to use musical gifts they may not have realized they had! No experience necessary. Meet us in the Sanctuary.
6:45-7:15 – Youth Bell Choir. Led by a dedicated disciple, Lisa McEntire, our youth are learning the joy of being a part of a Bell Choir. They occasionally offer their gift of music during our Sunday worship services. Meet us downstairs in the Bell Choir room.
7:15-8:00 – ENCOUNTER. This is a Youth-led worship experience in the Youth Room. Come learn the craft of worship. Led by our own Youth Lay Leaders and our Youth Band, we are developing our own worship services as guided by Methodist tradition. Join us as we worship our Creator from the Youth Room with the gifts He has given us!
